Arvest Bank announced that Ruthanne Whitehead has accepted a position as a commercial lender at the bank’s downtown Bentonville location.
Whitehead most recently served as a specialist with the Special Assets division of Arvest Bank since April 2010. She previously worked for Arvest from 1988 to 2003 as a commercial lender in Bentonville and an assistant loan review officer in Rogers.
“Ruthanne is well versed in all forms of lending practice and is an expert in Northwest Arkansas’ business climate,” said Jason England, commercial team leader for Arvest Bank in Benton County. “She knows how Arvest Bank likes to build relationships through customer service and executes that goal in her clients’ best interests.”
Whitehead has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, and a graduate degree in banking from Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colo.
Whitehead serves on the executive board for Helping Hands, Inc. and is a treasurer for Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter.
In the past, she has served as a member and past president of the Bentonville Rotary Club, the past finance chair at First United Methodist Church of Bentonville and past treasurer of the Bentonville/Bella Vista United Way Board of Directors.
